'Our Mission Consists of Only Killing' - The Way Sudan's Brutal Fighting Force Perpetrated a Massacre

Combatants chuckle as they travel on the back of a transport truck, hurrying past a row of several corpses and moving towards the sinking Sudan's sun.
"See such effort. Observe this instance of mass destruction," one shouts.

The men are rejoicing over a massacre that humanitarian officials suspect resulted in the deaths of over two thousand civilians in the African urban center of al-Fashir in recent weeks.
A City Cut Off from the Outside
Having held the city under encirclement for nearly two years, from August the RSF moved to strengthen its dominance and restrict the remaining inhabitants.
