Hello and welcome to today’s live match blog. Attention in the EPL shifts to the intense battle for avoiding relegation, with all of the bottom three in action at 15:00 UK time.
Top-Flight Survival Battle
Wolverhampton are desperately seeking their maiden victory of the season and entertain West Ham, who are a short distance from security. The Clarets, trailing by six points of 17th place, travel to a Brighton side mired in a winless run in six matches.
Beyond the EFL
We have no EFL action this Saturday – a complete schedule is set for Sunday – but we do have Scottish football to follow closely. The Old Firm got under way this lunchtime.
The business end of the Africa Cup of Nations start this afternoon with a round of 16 match between the Lions of Teranga and Sudan at 4pm, and we will also provide live text from league fixtures across European leagues.
Do not hesitate to share your thoughts if you’re off to a game or tuned in on television.
